Multi Account Manager (MAM)
A Multi Account Manager is software that is integrated into your MT4 and allows money managers to place orders in bulk across an unlimited number of accounts. The process is fast and efficient and can be executed from one trading terminal.
Who can use the MAM? Professional traders and investment firms that have the authority to manage funds on behalf of their clients can use the AIMS Multi Account Manager.
Investors keep their capital in their own segregated sub-accounts while the manager trades on their behalf — combining professional execution with full transparency and ownership.
MAM vs PAMM — what's the difference?
Both let one manager trade for many investors. The difference is how each managed account's share of the strategy is calculated.
Multi Account Manager
Orders are placed in bulk and allocated to each account by lots. The manager gets granular, per-account control and can run Expert Advisors — ideal for active, flexible strategies.
- → Lot-based allocation per account
- → Proportional by balance or by equity
- → Expert Advisors (EA) supported
- → Best for hands-on managers
Percentage Allocation Module
Investor capital is pooled and every result is split strictly by each investor's percentage share of the pool — simple, transparent and fully proportional.
- → Percentage-based profit & loss sharing
- → Pooled investor capital
- → Effortless, hands-off for investors
- → Best for straightforward pooling
The key roles, explained
A managed-account programme connects three parts — the manager, the investors who follow them, and the accounts that hold the capital.
The Money Manager
A professional trader or investment firm authorised to trade on behalf of others. They operate a single Master account and place orders in bulk that are mirrored across every linked investor account instantly.
The Investor / Follower
Individuals who allocate their own capital and let a manager trade it for them. Each investor keeps full ownership of their funds in their own sub-account — they can deposit, withdraw and monitor performance at any time.
The Managed Account
Every follower trades through their own segregated managed account linked to the Master. Profits and losses are allocated proportionally, so each investor's result reflects their share of the pooled strategy.

How does it work?
Register & deposit
The money manager registers and funds a live Master account with a minimum of $5,000 to begin managing capital.
Add trading accounts
Investors are linked to the Master account. A minimum of 2 investors must be present, with their total investment amounting to at least $5,000.
Execute in bulk
The manager places orders once from the Master account and they are instantly mirrored and allocated across every managed account.
Managed accounts, explained
Both let a money manager trade many accounts at once, but allocate results differently. A MAM (Multi Account Manager) places orders in bulk and allocates by lots — giving the manager flexible, per-account control and supporting Expert Advisors. A PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) pools investor capital and allocates profit and loss strictly by each investor's percentage share of the pool. MAM suits managers who want granular control; PAMM suits straightforward proportional pooling.

Yes. Each investor (follower) keeps their capital in their own segregated managed sub-account. They grant the manager permission to trade, but retain ownership and can monitor performance, deposit and withdraw according to the programme terms.
Profits and losses are allocated to each managed account in proportion to its share — either by balance or by equity, depending on the chosen allocation method. Performance fees payable to the manager are agreed up front and applied transparently to each investor's result.
